Dear fathers,
Hello. You may not know me, but I have something important to tell you.
Your job is probably the most important in the world - nothing against moms - but there are needs every child has that cannot be fulfilled by a mom.
So your job is pretty dang important.
I want to also let you know that around this world, fathers are failing in their jobs. They don't care. Or they just leave.
I want to let you know that consequences that these choices have on the kids are devastating.
How devastating, you ask?
How about suicide, gang, and drug user rates going up because of fatherless homes.
Devastating enough?
I'll conclude with this.
Please keep fighting the good fight.
Finish the race.
Keep the faith.
I pray for you every day.
You are loved.
You are appreciated.
Happy Father's day,
Malaki S.

Please, share this devo with the fathers in your life! Thanks for reading!
Hey Malaki. I liked your post regarding fathers. By God's Grace, He uses fathers to set the course for the next generation, and the next, and the next. It is not for the faint-hearted, and yet it is; because only when a father knows his weakness in being able to do what God commands and requires of him does he go to the One Who is Strong and Who can give strength and wisdom. It becomes a life of humble reliance on the Father of Mercies. Malaki, keep writing.......and praying. You are right, fathers need prayers.
Thank you to all the fathers who continue to step up and do the job God has given them.
